Antonis Bezas was born in 1963. He studied Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA-1986). He has worked as a design engineer, specializing in earthquake resistant structures and also as a special consultant in Local Government, in the fields of urban and spatial planning, the implementation of co-financed programs and the regional development.
He has served as a municipal (1994-1998) and prefectural councilor (1998-2001) and he was elected Member of the Hellenic Parliament in Thesprotia Region (2000-2009 and 2012-2015). He was Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Affairs (2012-2013), Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (2005-2009), responsible for taxation, public property and bequests, Deputy Minister of Health (2012-2013) responsible for EOPYY and PFY and Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security (2013-2014), responsible for social security. His areas of experience include organizational restructuring, promotion of reforms and financial rationalization.
Stefanos D. Vlastos has many years of extensive experience in the field of real estate management, financial markets, consulting services, strategy, marketing and tourism, having held a number of management positions in leading Organizations and Institutions in Greece and abroad, specifically in London, New York, Milan and Geneva.
Before taking office in November 2019 at the Hellenic Public Properties Company, Grivalia Hospitality was his prior professional endeavor. During his capacity as Director of the Tourism pillar of Grivalia Properties, he first managed to establish the company and finally transform it into one of the largest funds in the field of Hospitality Real Estate in Greece.
In the past, he has served as President and CEO of ComMit Group – DIAS Ventures, with special focus on the Restructuring of Assets and Operations and as Executive Secretary of the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism, responsible on issues of Spatial Planning and Strategy. In addition, he has also served as Executive Secretary of the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, managing the portfolio of Intercultural Education, Patriarchates, and Chairs of Hellenic Studies in foreign educational institutions, Greek Schools abroad, but also of private and foreign schools in Greece.
Stefanos D. Vlastos has served as Senior Manager at the French consulting company “YLIOS Hellas” with a focus on Strategy and Marketing and he has held an executive position at Bear Stearns Intl, specialized on issues of Investment Banking, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A’s), and Derivatives. In addition, he has served at Credit Commercial de France and Banque des Dépȏts CH with focus on the areas of Wealth & Fund Management.
He holds a Bachelor Degree (BA) in Business Economics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from SDA Bocconi and NYU Stern School of Business.
He speaks fluently English and French. He also speaks Italian and has a knowledge of German.
Born in 1963 and a graduate of the Varvakeio Experimental High School. He studied economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), with a major in marketing, and holds a Master’s Degree in International Management from INSEAD in Paris.
His specialization is in retail trade and management of major organizations, and he has served as the General Manager of Continent Hellas (Carrefour), for which he worked in France and Greece for eight years; CEO of Veneti Bakeries for three-and-a-half years; General Manager (2001-2007) and CEO (2007-2011) of the Everest Group; CEO of the catering division of the Vivartia Group (Goody’s, Everest, Olympic Catering) while simultaneously serving as Vice-Chairman of the Vivartia Group (DELTA, Barba Stathis, Goody’s, Everest).
Since July 2016, he has been CEO of the MIG Group and, starting in February 2018 held the position of Executive Chairman of the Vivartia Restaurant Group. In November 2016, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hygeia Group. He speaks English and French and is married with two daughters.
Born in 1974. He holds an MBA from Johnson & Wales University in the U.S and a Hotel Management Diploma from IHTTI in Switzerland. He has completed the Global Strategic Management and Negotiation & Decision Making program at Harvard Business School in Boston, as well as the General Managers Program at Cornell University, New York, and the Executive Leadership Program at CCL in San Diego, California.
From 2006 to 2016, he held the position of Vice-Chairman and CEO of Astir Palace Vouliagmenis and Chairman and CEO of Astir Marina S.A., successfully leading the privatization of the company while at the same time achieving record operating profit.
He has worked in managerial positions at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, as well as the world’s largest casino, Foxwoods Resort & Casinos, located in the U.S. From 2003 to 2006, he was the General Manager of Sofitel Rhodes and Operations Manager for the hotel chain Sofitel Capsis. From April 2011 to May 2018, he served as Senior Consultant to the management of the National Bank of Greece in the Hotel and Tourism Enterprise Division, and consulted on a variety of projects in the hospitality industry and real estate, both in Greece and abroad.
In August 2018, he was appointed Chairman of Hellenic Post (ELTA) and is a non-executive member of the board of directors of GNTO and HPPC.
Born in 1962. He is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut in the U.S., and a Ph.D from Panteion University in Athens. He holds the professional auditing certifications CIA and CFE. For seven years, he worked with Arthur Andersen as a consultant for private and public firms, as well as serving as a member of the board of directors and the Audit Committee.
From 2000 to 2007 he taught at AUEB, and since 2008 has been a member of the teaching and research staff for international audit & accounting standards in the Department of Public Administration at Panteion University, where he is a professor. In 2016, he served as Deputy Rector for Economics and Development at the same institution. He is also a member of the Quality Control Board of the Hellenic Accounting and Auditing Standards Oversight Board (since 2014) and a member of the board of directors for the Greek Institute of Business Ethics and other organizations. Since February 2018, he has been a member of the board of directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee for the Hellenic Public Properties Company S.A. Since September 2018 he has also been a non-executive member of the board of directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Hellenic Post (ELTA).
He is the author of several books and articles in Greek and foreign-language publications and has been a speaker at numerous professional and academic conferences in Greece and abroad. He is married and has two daughters.
Hara Vardakari holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from the University of Piraeus and an MBA in finance from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociale in Paris, France.
She has many years of professional experience in the broader financial sector. She began her career as a business consultant on financial matters and feasibility studies for various sectors of the economy. She then worked as a senior executive in large Greek banks and their subsidiaries. For more than a decade, she holds the position of Managing Director in Piraeus Factoring SA, having been a member of the Board of Directors of the same company since 2015.
